Shipment to Brazil
For some countries a C.O.O. is required. Your customer needs to check with the local agent in which cases a C.O.O. is required.
When a C.O.O. is required you need to keep in mind that the delivery time for your order will be increased with a minimum of 2 weeks. Reason for this is that we need to receive the original C.O.O. from Japan and bring this document to the Dutch Chamber of Commerce from whom we will receive a new C.O.O. which can be included with the shipment. This process will take approximately 2 weeks and costs for this are €150.
When your C.O.O. also needs to be legalized by the embassy of the destination country the whole procedure will take 3 weeks or longer (depending on how fast the legalization by the embassy can take place). Costs for legalization of the C.O.O. cannot be advised in advance as this depends on the destination country; each embassy has its own tariffs for legalization. At the moment we are informed that in Qatar (for all shipments) a C.O.O. is required.
Please note that it is not possible to acquire a C.O.O. after the shipment has been dispatched. This needs to be done prior to shipment!
Because this whole procedure takes a lot of effort and costs a lot of money our advice is to check for delivery to the next port of call where possible.
