Difficult destinations

JRC Warranty Dept. considers the following countries as difficult for shipping goods to:

  • Angola (boycotted by most airlines)
  • Argentina
  • Venezuela
  • Brazil
  • Gibraltar
  • India
  • Iran
  • Libya
  • Russia
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Syria
  • Ukraine

JRC will not arrange any shipments to these countries anymore under JRC’s responsibility - especially not for expensive equipment –. Reason for this is that JRC had too many shipments in the past that got stuck at customs due to unclear regulations and/or incorrect information provided by local agents. These shipments had to be returned against very high costs. JRC Warranty dept. is not responsible for these costs and shall charge these costs.

It is for this reason that JRC will only ship out to these countries if we have received an official letter from you or your customer in which is stated that you or they will take full responsibility for any charges caused by customs formalities, delayed flights, delayed collection from the agent, or any other charges not caused by JRC or their representative agent (ITG).

JRC would also like to point out that, when shipping to one of these countries, we need to receive shipping instructions before we arrange shipment. It is your responsibility to check with your customer and/or the local agent at the country of destination which specific instructions need to be followed. If changes need to be made after a shipment has left this will not only cause delays in the delivery but it will also cost a lot of extra money.

For all these destinations we also need to receive the most actual ETA and ETD of the vessel or latest required arrival date of the shipment in order to check if we can arrange delivery on time. When providing this information (especially in case of latest required arrival date), please check with the local agents how long it will take to get the shipment through customs formalities. Without an exact delivery date or ETA/ETD of the vessel JRC will not arrange shipment to these countries.

Because the above mentioned countries are not the most convenient destinations JRC advices to check for delivery to the next port of call if possible or check with your customer if they can arrange transport via one of their own forwarders.

As soon as JRC has received the official letter from you or your customer our logistics department will check for delivery possibilities. JRC Warranty dept. is not responsible for these additional costs and shall charge these costs separate.
